Meet Kish. Meet Kishshana. She also responds to Kish and Prof K, and you’ll get that easy-going, relatable vibe of hers within fives seconds of sitting in her presence.

This Jamaican/Puerto Rican mom from Queens, NY is our resident Queen of Focus and Leadership Wiz. She’s super (and I mean jump on Oprah’s couch alá Tom Cruise) passionate about helping career professionals and entrepreneurs grow their management and leadership skills. She’s an evangelist in her belief that having amazing talent is the #1 competitive advantage in your business.

If you’re tired of cookie-cutter professionals pushing fancy frameworks with no action plan for what you should do when they leave, then tune in, because Kish is breaking down the roadmap for leading and inspiring dynamic and diverse teams. When she’s not training the next generation of nonprofit leaders, you can find her jamming out to 90s rap with her “Queenager” with the top down and radio up😎

What You’ll Learn in her Good Guide

Managing Teams is not for the faint of heart. Many leaders think they’re managing people but don’t realize they are really managing relationships (and very important ones). Managing high-performing teams is really about creating the conditions for healthy relationships. In this Good Guide, Kishshana walks you through critical mindset shifts: 1️⃣ Moving away from the mentality of burn the people to get to the outcome. 2️⃣ Doing everything yourself, operating from a position of weakness, giving everything to the capable and not growing the team equitably. 3️⃣ Moving toward people-centered management, delegating to win, and the lazy susan of opportunity (better known as practicing equity, inclusion and access ). If you love edutainment, then get ready - because Kish’s energy and leadership genius is going to knock your socks off.
