Meet Germeen. This Brooklyn-based accountant accidentally fell into the nonprofit sector, and claims she’s never leaving. Besides singing backup for a couple of American Idol Winners, she’s also a certified anti-money laundering specialist.

But that’s not what fuels her passion. Her passion stems from a belief that nonprofits can solve many of their financial problems with virtual tools. She’s helping nonprofits navigate the complex world of accounting whilst embracing technology and smarter ways to save them time and money.

She’s warm, calming and brings that maternal instinct (earned from raising two active toddlers!) to the conversation as she holds your hand through automating your operations. You’ve got this👊

What You’ll Learn in her Good Guide

Embracing technology is no longer nice to have but it's a must-have for thriving nonprofits. With that being said, Nonprofits face a number of unique financial challenges and often struggle with limited resources. Choosing to run your fiscal operations virtually helps you to move from a heavily people-dependent approach to a systems-dependent approach. Moving to remote work long-term is scary and goes against the way we’ve “always done it” for decades. Join me as we commit to opening your mind and creating a collaborative culture that embraces technology and innovative ways to shore up our back-of-house operations.
